Professional Experience
Mr. Keefer possesses extensive background in business and real estate management and is an active member of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association). He is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and has been licensed and actively representing clients in commercial real estate for 6 years. He joined the commercial real estate team at Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate in 2012 . His skills and experience include tenant and buyer representation, landlord and seller representation, property management, investments, and development/buildout management.
Mr. Keefer has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for 10+ years as an Owner/Manager of industrial and office properties. He is currently President and/or Managing Member of several private commercial real estate LLC’s focused in northeastern Pennsylvania with holdings in Industrial and Office sectors of the market.
In 1990 Mr. Keefer graduated from the University of Maryland – College Park with a BS Degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics. Mr. Keefer entered the Electronics Industry as a buyer for a $10M US manufacturer of automotive aftermarket electronics. He spent 6 years working in different aspects of the business including buyer, senior buyer, product development manager, international procurement, sales manager, Sales VP and President. Mr. Keefer actively conducted buying trips to Asia, negotiated with Far East vendors, and managed/negotiated international contract manufacturing relationships and shipments. In addition, Mr. Keefer organized and supervised all aspects of Marketing, Sales and Logistics related to industry trade shows in Atlanta, Baltimore , and Las Vegas (Consumer Electronics Show), 11 in total.
In 1996 Mr. Keefer joined the Wood Products Division of Leggett & Platt Inc, . This manufacturing and sales company, a $150MM supplier to the bedding, construction, DIY, and specialty component industries, operated as a multi-national with extensive holdings in the US and Canada, and sales offices in Asia and Europe. Wearing two hats, as VP of Quality Systems/ Product Development, and later as VP Logistics, Mr. Keefer managed the implementation of an ISO 9000 style corporate quality system throughout the division, worked at all levels of production to implement new products and processes, supervised industrial output and product logistics, and traveled extensively to customers and vendors in the US and Canadian provinces as a senior staff officer. Mr. Keefer left to pursue ownership opportunities in commercial real estate.
During the last 10 years, Mr. Keefer has been involved in Commercial Real Estate in brokerage, property management, and development. In this role, Mr. Keefer has recruited, represented, managed, and developed properties in Northeastern Pennsylvania . He has strong business management skills, commercial real estate experience, and leadership qualities which enable him to represent well any party interested in Commercial Real Estate transactions.
Mr. Keefer resides in Kingston, Pennsylvania with his wife and 3 children,
