SCOTT TWP. — The former Times-Shamrock printing plant on Commerce Drive is under new ownership, according to a deed recorded Dec. 19 in Lackawanna County.
MediaNews Group Inc. sold the 20-acre property, including the approximately 55,000-square-foot industrial building, to Waverly Equities LLC for $2.8 million, per the deed.
The deed lists the address of the buyer as 170 Hamilton Ave., Suite 201, White Plains, New York. A listing on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration website lists Premier Brands of America Inc. as the owner/operator of that site. The company produces health and wellness products, per a note on its website.
Griff Keefer, owner and president of Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate which represented the seller in the transaction, added the property was sold for an industrial use.
