Ellen Raineri Ph.D

Ellen offers a wealth of information to buyers, sellers, and investors of commercial real estate. First, for over 15 years, she worked in several sales and marketing positions. She also provided coaching to organizations and taught undergraduate and graduate university courses in these topics. Ellen now shares these skills to benefit commercial clients as she prepares marketing literature, marketing campaigns, presentations, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and value justifications.

Second, having worked in management consulting positions as well as in several corporate leadership positions, Ellen was responsible for regularly facilitating strategic planning sessions with clients and with her employees. She now shares these skills with buyer and seller commercial clients to effectively map out a strategic and tactical plan of action based upon clients’ buying, selling, or investing goals. 

Third, for over 20 years, Ellen has honed her analytical and IT (Information Technology) skills as she performed programming and analysis work at companies such EDS, Blue Cross, and PNC. She continued to hone her analytical skills as she migrated to IT sales and sales management positions for companies that offered IT outsourcing, project management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Information Security. Ellen currently demonstrates analysis within the undergraduate and graduate courses she teaches including Management Information Systems (MIS), e-business, Feasibility Analysis, and Marketing Research with Competitive Intelligence.  Ellen’s analytical skills now benefit commercial clients as she determines the highest and best use of their properties as well as strategic implications from multiple buyer and seller perspectives. Ellen’s IT skills also benefit commercial clients as she regularly performs online market research and online networking to effectively drive the buying or selling processes.

Fourth, for over 20 years, Ellen studied and utilized creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship principles when teaching graduate courses on Corporate Entrepreneurship, conducting training session on Creativity and Innovation, and providing creativity consulting to organizations. Additionally, Ellen performed primary research in these areas for her doctoral dissertation was a formal study of CEO’s creativity. She is also a member of USASBE (US Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) and was a recent scholarship recipient. The skills of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship now benefit commercial clients as Ellen is often asked to approach their buying, selling, or investment situations using a novel approach.

Fifth, Ellen has numerous writing accomplishments including a book on business and spirituality (Wisdom in the Workplace: On the Job Training for the Soul) that was endorsed by Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager) and Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul series). Through this initiative, she appeared on Lifetime TV as well as in other types of TV, radio, web, and newspaper media. She also has numerous other writing pieces that have received awards and publication. Ellen’s writing skills benefit commercial clients as she skillfully creates and organizes written content needed for marketing announcements, proposals, presentations, and correspondences.

Sixth, Ellen has worked as a professional trainer and university professor at higher ed facilities that include Wilkes University, Penn State University, and College Misericordia. This skill now benefits commercial clients as Ellen prepares polished presentations that contain pertinent and understandable content that matches her recipients’ needs.       

Education
Ellen earned her Ph.D. in Organization and Management. She also earned her M.B.A. in Information Systems and was awarded the sole medal for Excellence in Business. She earned a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.A. in English and Education. 

 

In addition to completing numerous brokerage courses, Ellen is also enrolled in the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) real estate program. She completed the following CCIM courses: “Introduction to Commercial Investment Real Estate Analysis,” Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate,” “Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate,” and “User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate.”

 

Ellen received extensive training in consultative selling (Solution Selling, The Complex Sale, Strategic Selling, Facilitative Selling, Miller Heiman, SPIN Selling), corporate entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation.

Awards
Ellen received multiple Outstanding Employee Contribution Awards and was a member of high achievers’ sales clubs within several corporations. She was also the faculty Recipient of the "Excellence in Entrepreneurship Teaching” award from the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises program.

Ellen is a member of the TriState Realtors Commercial Alliance, USASBE (US Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship), and the CCIM Association.
